Roles & Objectives
As an Intern you will be part of our Consumables Engineering Design team for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A./Philip Morris Italia and will be reporting to a Technology Lead. The position will be based in Crespellano (BO)
In your role, you will join a team that is responsible for defining the technical solutions for manufacturing, driven by the future business needs. You will be exposed to a multi-cultural environment, with major interactions with different internal stakeholders as well as external equipment suppliers, with the overall goal to overcome technical challenges on a daily basis.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Participate and support in discussions with stakeholders inside PMI and external key partners in the scope of specific projects
- Analyze equipment process data to identify losses and define improvement areas
- Working closely with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams for problem solving exercises
- Support on the qualification activities of new manufacturing equipments in PMI.
Who we’re looking for:
The ideal candidate should have:
- Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electronic or Management Engineering;
- Strong interest in Manufacturing environments;
- Proactive and good organizational skills;
- Experience in data collection, management and analysis;
- Fluency in English is mandatory, and will be tested throughout the interview process.
