Your day to day:

 

As Manufacturing Quality Technician, you will be part of our Quality Department and will report to the Team Leader Manufacturing QA.

The position will be based in Crespellano.

In your role, you will ensure timely support to the manufacturing team during production and ensure all relevant standards are respected throughout the manufacturing process.

You will also ensure that intermediate and finished product non-conformities are managed and that related corrective and preventive actions are implemented. You will consistently apply OPEN+ systems and tools.

 

Specific responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all PMI and legal standards and policies related to Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset, or societal loss. Actively promote an interdependent and clear safety culture, fostering the use of preventive/predictive approaches in line with Open+/IOS.

 

Production support

Support production teams by providing Quality guidance and support in case of issues. Share knowledge and expertise with stakeholders (Q Champions) on new processes, requirements, methods, or policies.

Train shop-floor personnel on Quality practices and procedures, ensuring operational staff remain up to date with Quality requirements. Provide first-level support for DIM troubleshooting and relevant trials.

Support brand change activities related to Gate 4 and VSU projects.

Coordinate the availability and testing of samples.

 

Non-conformities management

Support timely investigations of non-conformities and deviations using OPEN+ problem-solving tools. Support the investigation and resolution of critical deviations and contribute to defining disposal actions and, when appropriate, corrective actions.

Participate in decisions regarding the release or destruction of non-conforming products blocked due to quality issues, and supervise the related costs. Support BUBD activities for Semi-Finished and Finished Goods.

 

Documentation management & QMS support

Provide support to the production team whenever needed.

Create and review procedures, work instructions, and other Quality documents. Provide support and training according to the training management system.

Ensure the timely availability of Batch Records before production.

 

Continuous improvement

Propose and follow up on Quality improvement ideas in production or other operational processes.

Analyze information and participate in small projects.

 

Materials management

Support the Manufacturing Department to improve DIMs performance and its impact on product quality, machine efficiency, and production costs.

 

Non-conformities management & CAPA

Support investigation of non-conformities and deviations. Support the decision-making process to quarantine non-conforming materials/products and liaise with relevant parties to identify root causes and implement appropriate preventive and corrective actions.

Ensure accurate follow-up and reporting of open actions, maintaining the related database updated. Ensure an effective process is in place to manage and control costs related to goods destroyed (LOGD).

 

 

Requirements & Skills

Professional or Technical School, or equivalent skills demonstrated through experience; Chemical Degree or CTF Degree preferred.

Minimum 6 months of experience in production, quality, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

Italian: Fluent
English: Basic

Knowledge of international standards (ISO). Strong knowledge of Quality tools, root cause analysis, analytical skills, and statistical tools. Ability to transform data into meaningful information (reporting skills).

Contract Type: Temporary / Tempo determinato

 

The working schedule will follow a rotating shift pattern: 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., and 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., based on a cycle of 6 consecutive working days followed by 3 days off.
