Roles and Objectives

 

As a Lab Capability Building Lead you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and governing standardized laboratory practices across the QC laboratory network and provide consultancy to parter laboratories (eg laboratories owned by suppliers). The role ensures laboratory personnel have the competencies, tools, and frameworks required to meet strategic business objectives while also driving continuous improvement, digital transformation, and crossfunctional alignment.  

   

Your Responsibilities:  

   

  • Establish and maintain standardized processes, methods, and execution frameworks;

  • Develop and oversee the laboratory capability framework to ensure personnel achieve required proficiency levels;

  • Collect, evaluate, and prioritize improvement needs from key stakeholders across laboratories;

  • Apply scientific expertise and structured problemsolving to identify opportunities for quality enhancement, risk mitigation, and process optimization;

  • Lead and represent Laboratories in the design and implementation of digital infrastructure enabling transformation of raw data into meaningful insights.  


Who we’re looking for: 
 

   

  • 3-6 years experience in in Laboratory Operations, Quality Control, or Technical Leadership roles within a regulated environment.;

  • Advanced degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field (preferred);

  • Strong understanding of laboratory standards, systems, and operating principles;

  • Experience leading or supporting digital transformation initiatives in laboratory settings;

  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, and will be tested throughout the interview process.
