Roles & Objectives
As an Intern you will be a part of one of our dynamic teams: Quality Control Center of Excellence (CoE), Quality Control or Decentralized Laboratory for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. The positions will be based in Bologna.
In these roles, you will support laboratory operations, quality analysis and process optimization in a multicultural, data-driven environment.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Perform physical/chemical tests on raw materials, semi-finished and finished products.
- Support equipment troubleshooting and complex testing procedures.
- Assist in optimizing lab processes and analytical methods.
- Collect and analyse testing data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of a Cost of Testing framework and KPI reporting.
- Maintain sample traceability and ensure proper documentation.
- Propose and lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Who we’re looking for:
- Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Management Engineering or similar.
- Computer skills (MS Office).
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Willingness to adapt to new challenges and learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Collaboration skills and the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
