Roles & Objectives

As an Intern you will be part of our Initiatives Department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A and will be reporting to Project Engineering Manager. The position will be based in Bologna.


You will join the Project Engineering team within the "Manufacturing" section. This team supports Manufacturing in activities such as the installation of machine upgrade kits, reapplication of best practices identified within the production Bays, and specific projects related to the safety program called "Zero Risk." 

 

Specific Responsibilities: 

 

  • Creation of the Work Permit, a document necessary for the start of construction sites in the area;

  • Management of Safety Rules in the area (BOS);

  • Capitalization of installed assets;

  • Creation and reapplication of kaizen within our Secondary manufacturing area;

  • Support in other specific projects regarding operational site activities. 

 

Who we’re looking for  

 

  • Fluency in English and in Italian is mandatory, and will be tested throughout the interview process;

  • Degree in Engineering;
  • Good written and verbal communication skills: ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content for various internal communication channels;

  • Organizational and time-management skills: ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;

  • Basic knowledge of digital communication tools and platforms: experience with intranet systems, email marketing software, and social media platforms is a plus;

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team: willingness to take initiative and collaborate effectively with colleagues;

  • Creativity and problem-solving skills: ability to generate new ideas and find solutions to communication challenges.
