Roles & Objectives

As an Intern you will be part of our Internal Communications Department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to the Internal Communications Supervisor. The position will be based in Crespellano (BO).


In your role, you will join the Internal Communications team supporting in managing the flow of information within the company, fostering employee engagement, and promoting a strong and positive company culture. You will contribute to the development and implementation of internal communication strategies, ensuring effective and timely communication across all levels of the organization

 

Specific Responsibilities: 

 

  • Assisting in the creation and distribution of engaging content for various internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, emails, and presentations. This includes writing, editing, and formatting content to ensure clarity and consistency with brand messaging;

  • Supporting the planning and execution of internal events, such as town hall meetings, employee recognition programs, and workshops. This involves coordinating logistics, managing invitations, preparing materials, and gathering feedback;

  • Monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives through data collection and reporting, providing insights for continuous improvement. This may include tracking employee engagement metrics, analyzing feedback surveys, and preparing reports on communication performance;

  • Assisting in the production of multimedia content, such as videos and graphics, for internal communication purposes. This may include basic video editing, graphic design, and content creation for digital platforms.

 

Who we’re looking for  

 

  • Fluency in English and in Italian is mandatory, and will be tested throughout the interview process;

  • Good written and verbal communication skills: ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content for various internal communication channels;

  • Organizational and time-management skills: ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: familiarity with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;

  • Basic knowledge of digital communication tools and platforms: experience with intranet systems, email marketing software, and social media platforms is a plus;

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team: willingness to take initiative and collaborate effectively with colleagues;

  • Creativity and problem-solving skills: ability to generate new ideas and find solutions to communication challenges;

  • Interest in internal communication and employee engagement: passion for creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture;

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality: handling sensitive information with discretion;

  • Basic knowledge of graphic design or video editing: skills in creating visual content are a plus.
