Your Role
As an Intern, you will be part of the Operations Finance team at Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A., reporting to one of our Strategic Planning Analysts. The position will be based in our site in Crespellano (Bologna).
In your role, you will learn how Operations Finance supports overall business operations. You will be able to build skills in financial analysis, budgeting and reporting. You will rely on data analysis to assess cost performance, identify budget trends and support business with decision making. Usage of financial software for forecasting budget, tracking actuals, analyzing deviations.
What You’ll Do
- Support Budgeting and Forecasting activities;
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, ensuring data integrity and reliability;
- Partner with the business to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive productivity initiatives;
- Support Inventory-related activities (e.g., Fixed Assets, Stock Count);
- Collaborate with local Manufacturing, other Finance departments and with other key stakeholders to enhance financial performance and support effective decision-making.
Skills & Capabilities
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point;
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional stakeholders;
- Curiosity driven, problem-solving mindset and entrepreneurial spirit;
- Fluent in English and good knowledge of Italian (please note this will be tested throughout the interview process).
Rewards & Benefits
- We offer an Internship of 6 months length, full time.
- In this position you will earn no less than 900 € monthly
