Student Worker for Commercial Plannin

Are you currently pursuing a commercial degree and eager to gain hands-on experience with data, analysis, and commercial development in an international company?

Are you curious, eager to learn, and ready to take responsibility – even for things you haven’t tried before?

Then you might be the one we’re looking for

What’s the job about?

You’ll join the Commercial Planning team in the Danish commercial organization at Philip Morris – and this is more than just a student job. It’s a chance to gain real insight into how business is run across sales, marketing, and strategy in a global company.

We dive into data, explore sales and market insights, and create presentations that make an impact. Most importantly: we make a difference. We’re not just support – we’re the ones who make things happen. We create value by enabling other teams to perform at their best.

You’ll work closely with August Faisst, Mikkel Demskov, and another student worker – and you’ll have a broad network across the entire office. Together, we act as the link between the Danish market and our colleagues in areas like marketing, finance, and business planning at our Nordic headquarters in Stockholm – and we have fun while doing it.

Your tasks will include:

  • Analyzing sales and market data to uncover valuable insights
  • Creating presentations and reports that make an impact
  • Maintaining and updating existing reports and dashboards to ensure we’re always on top of the numbers
  • Handling ad hoc tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment – from gathering input for a presentation to digging into a dataset or helping prepare for meetings
  • Who are you?

We’re not looking for the perfect CV – we’re looking for someone with curiosity, energy, and a willingness to learn. If you bring the right mindset, we’ll teach you the rest.

We imagine that you:

  • Are enrolled in a bachelor’s degree at KU or CBS in a relevant field (IB, Polit, HA- Almen or similar), preferably on your second or third year
  • Can work 15–20 hours per week (we’re flexible around exams)
  • Are confident in Excel and PowerPoint – and maybe have dabbled in PowerBI, Python, or SQL
  • Speak and write fluent English (Danish is a plus)
  • Are curious, structured, and not afraid to ask questions
  • Want to be part of a team where we support each other and have fun

This job is for you if…

  • You love working with and exploring data
  • You think it’s cool when your slides are used in a presentation to leadership
  • You’re not afraid to say “I don’t know – but I’ll find out”
  • You want to learn how a large international company operates from the inside

What’s in it for you?

  • A student job with real responsibility – not just coffee and copying
  • A modern office in Ørestaden – right by the metro
  • A workday filled with skilled colleagues and lots of learning
  • Flexible hours and the option to work in a hybrid setup
  • Delicious lunch and a great atmosphere
  • A strong focus on your professional and personal development
  • Ongoing feedback and sparring to help you grow
  • The chance to present your analyses and ideas to the team
  • Exposure to tools and methods that many only encounter in their first full-time job

What do former student workers say?

“I was given responsibility quickly and became part of the team on equal footing with everyone else – and I’ve learned more here than in any case competition.”
– Jacob Thomas, student worker in Commercial Planning

Who are we?
