What your day looks like
- You work within the Sales Office (SO) to ensure treasury-related transactions, such as monitoring and counting of remittances, safekeeping of cash and checks, and management of revolving funds, are executed timely and accurately.
- You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness in recording remittances, preparation of bank reconciliation, manage revolving funds, and sales office treasury-related transactions are compliant.
Area of Responsibility
- DSD Creditable Withholding Tax (CWT) Management (End to End Process)
- NSDB compliance/ Update of Vault combination + GC
- Remittance validation (cancel/create, transmittal update)
- Short/Over remittance monitoring
- Bank pick-up (incl. Speedcollect pick-up)
- Bank relations (incl. visit and replenishment)
- Bad debts monitoring and subsequent collection
- Returned Check Management
- Expense voucher preparation
- RF count, preparation of RF balance report
What you need to have
- You must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business or any related University degree
- You must also have at least 3 years of work experience, handling or overseeing an accounting, financial support, or audit function
- You must also possess effective communication, presentation, training, planning and organizational skills, and controls mindset
- You must be open to do fieldwork as deemed needed; knows how to drive is a plus
Work Schedule and Location
- Generally Mondays to Fridays, 8AM - 5PM
- Saturdays, 8AM - 12NN
- Based in San Fernando Sales Office
- Full onsite work arrangement
