Your responsibility as a Business Building Executive is to deliver business growth within an assigned territory by executing commercial programs, strengthening trade partnerships and improving product availability and visibility. The role plays a key part in retaining loyal consumers, attracting competitive switchers and expanding company’s market share.
As a frontline leader, the Business Building Executive (BBE) shapes in-store execution – ensuring compliance with pricing and presence standards, activating programs that drive demand and offtake, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in the field.
Accountabilities: Your day to day tasks are the following:
Territory Management & Trade Influence
- Manage and grow assigned territory by executing company driven route-to-market strategies and coverage initiatives, while building strong relationships with trade partners.
- Influence the trade to adopt company programs and tools when required, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities.
- Drive in-store execution of initiatives to boost visibility and access across channels.,
- Use field insights to identify growth opportunities and build actionable territory plans.
Consumer Engagement
- Support execution of initiatives that build loyalty among existing consumers and attract consumers from competing brands.
- Implement retail activations and promotional programs that drive trail, repeat purchase and conversion
Pricing Compliance
- Influence trade partners to adhere to approved pricing guidelines.
- Monitor and address pricing deviations in the field to protect market integrity and brand positioning.
- Implement local pricing initiatives and support consistent application across commercial channels.
Performance Monitoring
- Track and report key performance indicators such as territory-level sales, share of market and program compliance
- Consolidate insights to inform future strategies and execution improvements.
- Use data to assess program effectiveness and identify corrective actions when needed.
- Monitor product offtake and availability tends to guide tactical actions in the field.
Corporate Compliance
- Ensure all field activities comply with company policies and local laws.
- Promote safety and environmental standards and maintain company assets in good condition.
Skill and competencies:
- With driver’s license for at least a year and can drive manual transmission
- Strong Interpersonal skills and are knowledgeable in negotiation and consultative selling
- Field sales exposure is an advantage
- With relevant sales/ trade marketing projects and initiatives
- Proficiency in performance monitoring and data analysis
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Work Location: San Fernando Sales Office – should be amenable to be assigned to do field work in areas covered by the assigned sales office
Work Schedule: Mondays to Saturdays, no fixed schedule and can start as early as 6:30 AM
