Your Day to Day 

 

The Back Office Treasury Supervisor is responsible for overseeing treasury back-office operations, ensuring accurate accounting, strong internal controls, and effective integration between treasury activities, ERP systems, and banking platforms. The role combines hands-on treasury expertise with people leadership, supporting continuous process optimization and treasury projects and partnering closely with treasury CoE, Accounting, Tax, AP/AR, IT, and external banks.

 

  • Oversee and coordinate daily and period-end treasury back-office activities, including execution of treasury transactions, daily bank reconciliations, cash movements, bank fees, interest, and treasury-related journal entries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop direct reports providing clear objectives, ongoing feedback, training, and performance support to ensure high-quality delivery and professional growth.
  • Ensure effective knowledge transfer, task allocation, and workload management within the treasury back-office team, promoting collaboration, accountability, and business continuity.
  • Lead and actively contribute to treasury projects and process optimization initiatives, including automation, system enhancements, and improvements in bank integrations, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders on operational issues, payment exceptions, and complex or non-standard transactions, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation when needed.
  • Support implementation and enhancement of treasury systems and banking platforms, working closely with IT and global treasury teams to ensure robust and efficient solutions.

 

 

What are we looking for

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or advanced student) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in treasury, bank accounting, or finance operations, with solid exposure to accounting principles and treasury processes.
  • Previous experience supervising or coaching teams will be highly valued.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications is required.
  • Experience with ERP systems (especially SAP) and familiarity with treasury management systems or online banking platforms is highly desirable.
  • Experience participating in treasury transformation, optimization, or system implementation projects is a strong plus.
  • Good knowledge of US GAAP, particularly related to cash and bank accounting, to ensure proper treatment of transactions.
