WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
• 5 years + of designing, automating, managing, or supporting enterprise data and voice networks;
• Previous work experience in the network architecture field within telecommunications vendor / service provider or large enterprise;
• Advanced certifications from vendors such as Cisco (DevNet, CCIE/CCNP), Palo Alto, or AWS/Azure;
• Understanding and experience with Software Development and Design, Automation, APIs, etc.;
• Experience in managing requirements for a large global network backbone;
• Expertise with the following technologies:
- Cisco LAN Solutions - Cisco SD-Access (DNA-C, ISE), and legacy LAN
solutions.
- Cisco WAN Solutions – Cisco SD-WAN
- Cisco Meraki Solutions
- Palo Alto Firewalls (Physical and virtualized)
- Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
- Ansible BitBucket, Git, Jenkins, other CI/CD tools
- Knowledge about NAC, 802.1X (wired and wireless), conditional requisites for network access technologies
• Knowledge and expertise in the following technologies is a huge plus:
- Palo Alto Prisma Access / SASE architecture and redesign
- Terraform Enterprise / Infrastructure as Code / Focus on automation of network operations
- Hybrid cloud connectivity (AWS DX, DXGW, TGW, GWLB, etc.)
- Knowledge of Industrial Networks (ICS, Purdue)
- Knowledge of Skype for Business / Microsoft Teams, VoIP, SIP, SBCs, Operator Connect
HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?
• Define, evolve, and implement the roadmap of the global connectivity architecture for specific products and solutions.
• Analyze and translate business technical requirements to design into architectural blueprints for solutions to achieve complex business objectives for PMI.
• Work on proactively identifying opportunities to improve and enhance PMI networks and PMI network security
• Support major network transformation projects by contributing and collaborating with different Solution and software Architects within PMI.
• Develop and improve operational documentation, process guidelines, and best practices for PMI Connectivity team.
• Support major network transformation projects by contributing and collaborating with Solution and Software Architects.
• Examine vendor products to determine the best fit with PMI requirements.
• Work with network equipment vendors, telecom carriers, network monitoring equipment/software vendors.
• Recommend technology solutions based on vendor capabilities and product/service offerings to ensure the network is operational, reliable, secure, and efficient.
• Be responsible for the automation of enterprise connectivity infrastructure, including the planning, design, and implementation follow up of PMI network solutions.
