“Your Day to Day”
- Prepares monthly, quarterly and / or annual statutory financial reporting of respective PMI affiliates. It includes timeliness, accuracy and conformity with legal, fiscal, statutory and corporate requirements
- Supports monthly, quarterly and annual US GAAP closing activities of respective PMI affiliates
- Performs control & review activities delegated by GL Supervisor (incl review/approval of JERFs and Accounts reconciliation and GMRB transmissions dashboard)
- Review/approve requests in MyPMI tool
- Supports GL Supervisor in coordination of MEC process with Affiliate, IBS and BPO Teams
- Provide support to BPO in resolution of issues, liaising with Affiliates, IBS or Corporate Teams
- Supports BPO in timely completion of Balance Sheet reconciliations and ensure proper escalation process for overdue items (coordinates gathering of items for escalation)
- Ensure all controls requirements including SOX, PMI P&Ps, Finance Accounting Standards are met for controls in scope
- Actively participate in local affiliates projects / process changes implementation (changes in CoA, CFIN, New accounting tools, Data Transformation, changes in RRP processes etc)
- Actively participate and provide meaningful insights in balance sheet review and pre-closing meeting
What are we looking for
- University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent
- Ability to communicate (written and verbal) fluently in Spanish and English (Portuguese knowledge is a plus)
- Strong Experience in Accounting processes, USGAP, IFRS
- SAP knowledge, FI, SPL and COPA model
- Management of Power point and Excel tools (knowledge of Macros is a plus)
- Strong communication and customer oriented skills
- Proactive profile, able to work in dynamic environments with strong problem solving competencies, ability to translate findings into solutions
