As an Operations Finance Senior Specialist, you will support PMI US entities by delivering accurate and compliant accounting activities related to inventory, costing, CAPEX, and intercompany transactions. You will help ensure financial integrity, support business decision-making, and work closely with Operations Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other Finance teams.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform inventory reconciliations and support month-end costing activities.
- Analyze manufacturing variances and explain inventory and cost fluctuations.
- Review and reconcile cost accounting interfaces in Dynamics 365 Finance.
- Monitor inventory adjustments and support transfer pricing calculations.
- Maintain and track approved CAPEX projects and spending.
- Analyze project performance, capitalization readiness, and budget variances.
- Reconcile intercompany transactions and prepare related journal entries.
- Support month-end close activities, including inventory, costing, and reserves.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and provide financial analysis.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Support Finance transformation initiatives, including Dynamics 365 and AI-enabled solutions.
- Maintain process documentation and support internal and external audits.
- Execute SOX controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, manufacturing finance, controlling, or Record to Report processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong English proficiency.
- Knowledge of US GAAP, inventory valuation, manufacturing variances, transfer pricing, intercompany accounting, and internal controls.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP and/or Dynamics 365 Finance.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across functions.
- Continuous improvement mindset, with interest in automation and AI-enabled solutions.
