Purpose:
The role is responsible for defining and deploying channel strategy and execution standards, delivering best-in-class consumer experiences while driving commercial performance, brand equity, and operational excellence. Operating across both strategic and operational dimensions, the role contributes to mid-term planning while primarily ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across a complex retail ecosystem.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead, develop, and manage all branded retail points of sale, ensuring end-to-end accountability for Direct Retail operations across employees, contractors, and external partners.
- Define and execute operational plans for Direct Retail, ensuring alignment with mid-term business objectives, profitability targets, and consistent execution across all retail formats.
- Deliver best-in-class consumer experience within the channel, contributing to brand equity, NPS, and P&L performance, while generating actionable consumer insights to identify and close experience gaps and opportunities.
- Deploy and execute commercial programs, projects, and initiatives through one-to-one and one-to-many consumer engagement activities, ensuring an effective end-to-end consumer journey and achievement of brand, consumer, and commercial targets.
- Drive direct consumer engagement and lead generation strategies, leveraging in-channel and cross-channel opportunities to support the consumer journey
- Continuously optimize retail productivity and operational effectiveness, leading footprint expansion, performance improvement, and innovation initiatives, while developing and implementing processes and standards that enhance consistency and efficiency.
- Define and drive traffic strategies, including activation cadence and amplification, while monitoring product and channel performance and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
- 8+ years of experience in retail, commercial, or consumer-facing roles, ideally within FMCG or branded retail environments.
- Proven experience managing multi-site retail operations and leading teams, including third-party partners and vendors.
- Advanced level of English.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead through others in multi-layer structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex and undefined operational challenges.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple functions.
- Customer-centric mindset with strong focus on consumer experience and brand building.
- Ability to translate consumer and business insights into actionable strategies and execution plans.
