Position Title:  Finance Analyst - Control & Payment

Role purpose

The C&P analyst performs operations for the end-to-end payment process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of the payments of vendors, taxes, payroll, intercompany, and any other related requirement from the company (complying with our internal policies), actively contributing to operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring the corresponding documentation and controls (Sox, compliance and operative) are in place accordingly.

Your Day to Day

• Analyze, control, document and execute the payments in accordance to PMI policies and procedures.
• Perform and ensure; compliance, operational and SOX controls related to the payments are executed in a timely and accurate manner and support internal and external audit processes required by the company.
• Analysis and follow-up of the payment rejections and bank issues related to the payment process.
• Support and collaborate with the affiliates and internal stakeholders with all the activities related to the disbursements, remittances or any other payment-related activities.
• Identify opportunities and participate in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to operational excellence.

What we are looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience in treasury and/or financial processes related to payments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Advanced or fluent nglish, both spoken and written.
• University student or graduate in Accounting, Business Administration, or related.
• Valid passport: It is required for the creation of the users in the bank platforms.
• Nice to have: exposure to automation tools or solutions (e.g., process automation, AI), experience working in a Shared Service Center environment, Intermediate Portuguese proficiency (spoken and written), experience in the processing of operations in bank platforms; preferable Citibank (Citidirect)
