External Affairs Manager – EU
The purpose of the role is to develop and implement strategies and plans at the field of EU affairs, based on the priorities set by the Director External Affairs and in line with External Affairs EU strategic guidelines, for maximizing the possible benefits for the company and meeting the regulatory and fiscal objectives for Philip Morris Hungary.
Supporting the EU external affairs team to achieve alignment of region and market, in a synergic co-operation with the local external affairs regulatory, fiscal, scientific engagement and comms teams. Developing a wide range of effective government and non-government relations with decisions makers, opinion leaders and other important stakeholders both on domestic and international levels, in the framework of the Company's corporate affairs policies, to support in reaching its key business objectives, by ensuring procedural compliance, availability, accuracy and timeliness.
Monitoring developments of the political environment, anticipating legal and political changes, preparing documents reflecting Philip Morris Hungary's position on issues and channeling these to the relevant stakeholders.

Who we are looking for?
- College or university degree in economics, law, political sciences or medical field
- Working experience in the public administration is a must, specifically working in/with EU institutions.
- You have at least 6+ years of experience government affairs, regulatory affairs, local or EU level governing bodies, etc.
- You have a great understanding of interplay between business, national, and international institutions
- You are able to work with senior stakeholders and decision makers
- You are fluent in Hungarian and English
