People and Culture Internship at Philip Morris Hungary

Our internship program is a learning opportunity for Economics, Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications (or similar) students OR fresh graduates interested in HR, Labour Law, Learning and development, Compensation, Recruitment, and in supporting important projects and experience a truly international company. 

This internship program is aimed at training a pool of talented individuals and providing opportunity to grow at Philip Morris International. The employment is trough our temporary staffing agency partner, with a 6 month contract in the beginning, with possibility to extend it further. No student status is required, so we are accepting applications from those who are still studying, or from who already finished the university/college.  

The work location is at our Kálvin square HQ in Budapest.  

Please note that there are multiple options regarding the working hours, weekly 24, 32 or 40 (3-4-5 working days per week). We can change the working hours during the internship if needed. (for example: 3-4 days during the semester, 5 days in the summer)  

 

What will you do?  

 

  • Work in close collaboration with People & Culture Business Partner  

  • Support daily People & Culture operations  

  • Support organizational projects & talent lifecycle 

  • Contribute to learning and development initiatives and training logistics 

  • Provide administrative support (e.g. Compensation, benefits) 

  • Participate in People & Culture projects and process improvement efforts 

  • Contribute to the deployment of employee engagement and onboarding programs

  • We are recommending this program for you if you are (or were) a student in Economics, Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Communications or any similar field of studies. 

  • You have curiosity towards business and people as well,  

  • You are a strong and confident communicator, and can get along well with different people 

  • You have the courage to initiate, experiment, share your ideas, 

  • You are agile enough to handle a very dynamic market because as we all know, change is the only constant 

  • You are fluent in Hungarian and English  

  • A third spoken language is an advantage (e.g. French, Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish)

What the selection process will look like?  

  • After you apply, our recruiter will contact You through phone for a short call, if you are selected based on your resume. 

  • You will receive an online test which is focusing on logical thinking and other skills  

  • Based on these, you can expect an in-person interview with the hiring manager.  

  • Following your successful interview, you will be directed to the workforce lending agency through which your employment will be concluded.
