Our Finance related work include financial accounting: R2R, P2P, L2C and Treasury activities, planning & forecasting and commercial financial support.

Your ‘day to day’
As a Financial Accountant you will have a good understanding of accounting principles and be able to manage financial tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Integrated Tasks:
Regular activities according to the tasks allocated by the direct supervisor:
- Verifying daily financial transactions with the cash register and Z report.
- Consulting bank statements, allocating and closing payments, timely preparing related reconciliations and reporting files, ensuring the receipts received by PM are processed promptly.
- Issuing compensation invoices for various promotions implemented with partners.
- Sending weekly payment invoices and performing quarterly balance confirmations with clients.
- Verifying payment-related accounts (broken down by payment methods) and identifying discrepancies between the Z report and system records according to the monthly activity plan. Follow-up with peers, LSP, commercial and SCE teams by providing relevant information to ensure on-time correction/explanation of open items.
- Maintaining strong collaboration and communication with LSP, front end partners and other departments within the company ( tax, commercial, logistic, IT, legal) at both the affiliate and Service Center levels regarding AR activities.
Month end or year activities according to the tasks allocated by the direct supervisor:
- Participating in month-end closing activities connected to B2C and B2B channels and supporting month-end closing reporting: revenue, payment, and systems reconciliations.
- Supporting internal and external audit processes and providing requested documents.
- Supporting the annual inventory count process and related reconciliation for FG & FA according to the terms and conditions stipulated in the statutory and US GAAP policy.
- Collaborating with other departments, internal and external partners and contributing together with Financial Accounting Team for the market adherence to PMI accounting policies and financial controls as well compliance with Romanian statutory accounting standards.
Others:
Intradepartmental activities
- Gathering correct info and ensuring timely response to ad-hoc financial inquiries.
- Issuing routine and non-routine reports and reconciliations related to the accuracy and integrity of revenue postings at the client level in the two SAP modules (FI & SD).
- Running and analyzing predefined reports to verify the accuracy of system data according to applicable regulations and P&P.
- Participating in interdepartmental projects and the implementation of new processes according to company objectives.
- Ensuring flexibility by engaging in other accounting activities and providing backup for the team during busy periods or vacations, contributing to the department's sustainability.
Interdepartmental activities
- Contributing to creating and maintaining strong collaboration with SCE to ensure the correct understanding and application of both PMI accounting rules and statutory requirements.
- Maintaining proper documentation in an easy-to-use archive containing essential information and complying with PMI document retention rules.
- Ensuring that appropriate work instructions are provided to external partners and the commercial team
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Work experience (including internships) in accounting or finance is an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent skills in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of SAP system will be considered an advantage.
- Understanding of US GAAP will be considered an advantage.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Romanian languages.
- Good business acumen.
