Channel Planning Coordinator

Act as the single point of contact for the allocated channel & build a relationship with channel team in order to best convey and explain upcoming plans & initiatives to be implemented.  Ensure the achievement of objectives by developing an implementation plan for all categories, coordinating the planning of all business activities, taking into account business initiatives and priorities as well as the specifics of each channel. Constantly evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of both implementations and planned activities.

Responsabilities:

  • Coordinates the planning of commercial activities in the channel, integrating commercial meetings, those of the brand and portfolio during the launch and implementation phases, in line with business priorities. Together with the direct supervisor, ensures the efficient allocation of resources to achieve the established objectives, maximizing the results from investments, with a focus on the quality of execution during the implementation of initiatives.
  • Ensures that the proposed activities for implementation are prioritized in line with business objectives. Assesses and recommends effective implementation approaches tailored to the channel, ensuring alignment with brand programs and initiatives. Provides clear direction to all departments to ensure that key details behind the implementations in offline channels are taken into consideration and respected. Intervenes to support the teams involved in the development of new product launches and initiatives, as well as to address potential inefficiencies. Coordinates the communication process of new initiatives to the sales team at a national level and monitors implementation.
  • Ensure efficient and quick implementation of initiatives; thereby increasing their success rate, thus providing support in the development and optimization of processes.
  • It will be ensured that the implementation will be started according to the agreement made during the planning. The coordinator monitors key indicators of business initiatives from the field and initiates and facilitates a detailed analysis of these indicators to identify opportunities/issues in implementation and to optimize the overall planning, decision-making, and implementation process. She/he leads the processes of analyzing the effectiveness of implementations, eliminating inefficiencies, and maximizing success rates. She/he consistently analyzes and captures feedback from the channel  and relays it back to the organization and management teams regarding potential for optimization and improvement.
  • Develops a deep understanding of channel consumers and their needs, ensuring that insights from past implementations are considered to drive continuous improvement in efficiency and effectiveness. Maintains direct and ongoing interaction with the channel to ensure alignment and responsiveness. For optimal coordination and execution, the role is ideally located in-market, enabling close collaboration with local teams and timely adaptation to channel-specific dynamics.
  • Facilitates the learning and development process for new internal recruits, ensuring an environment and a culture that promotes continuous development, allowing new team members to have learning opportunities and maximize their potential while also evaluating their performance.
