Roles & Objectives 

As an Intern you will be part of our Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Department (called internally OPEN+) for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to a Global OPEN+ Manager. The position will be based in Bologna.

Join our dynamic OPEN+ team, we’re looking for a proactive intern to support our Continuous Improvement initiatives. The role involves assisting with performance metric reporting, maintaining process tools and documentation, and collaborating across teams to ensure training materials and knowledge resources are current and accessible. The ideal candidate will have intermediate skills in Excel and Power BI, a basic understanding of scripting, and a keen interest in process optimization and knowledge management.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Assist in KPI reporting using Power BI and Excel (intermediate level required).

·       Support and enhance tools for process sustainability, including basic Excel VBA scripting.

·       Maintain and update SharePoint links and features to ensure accessibility and relevance.

·       Collaborate with IT to manage training material updates through ticketing systems.

·       Create and publish knowledge checks (quizzes) using designated software tools.

·       Contribute to Knowledge Management by updating internal standards and documentation

 

Qualifications

·       Familiarity with Power BI and Excel (intermediate level).

·       Basic understanding of Excel VBA.

·       Experience or interest in SharePoint and digital collaboration tools.

·       communication experiences or participating in University Project events

·       Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
