Roles & Objectives 

As an Intern you will be part of our Center of Excellence Logistics and Customer&Collaboration Department for Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A. and will be reporting to a COE Manager. The position will be based in our City Center office in Bologna. 

Join our dynamic COE team as an Intern, supporting strategic initiatives that drive innovation and operational excellence. You will contribute to Excellence Programs, assist in mapping value streams and processes to enable organizational transformation, and support the definition of performance metrics for a centralized global supply chain data hub. These activities will continuously strengthen global supply chain knowledge management, laying the foundation for future AI capabilities and applications implementation. 

Specific Responsibilities: 

• Support the definition and implementation of KPIs for a centralized Logistics Data Hub;

• Business Analyst to review master data for Global Logistics Dashboard and enabling AI Agent application;  

• Standardize documentation and contribute to Knowledge Management and creation and initiatives as a foundation for enabling Agentic AI capabilities;

• Assist in Value Stream and Process Mapping to support the transition toward a process-driven organization; 

• Support Global Logistics Project Managerss for Global Initiatives under deployment.

Who we’re looking for : 

• Student Degree in Management, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Economics or related fields;

• Literacy in Office Suite (in particular PowerBI, Excel VBA,…);

• Fluent in English, written and spoken;

• Analytical skills;

• Interest in digital transformation, process design, and AI-driven systems; 

• Familiarity with data visualization and process mapping tools is a plus;

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a global team environment.
