Bogota, Bogotá D.C., CO, 110221
Be part of a revolutionary change.
At Philip Morris International (PMI), we’ve decided to do something extraordinary. We’re transforming our entire company and designing a future with a clear purpose: delivering a smoke-free future.
With big changes come big opportunities. No matter where you join us, you’ll have the chance to innovate and deliver brilliant solutions, while advancing your career and exploring new professional directions.
Our transformation is redefining every aspect of our business. From how we make and market our products, to how we engage with our customers and society at large. We’re evolving from the inside out, creating a future that’s as ambitious as it is necessary.
We’re looking for an Engagement Internal & External Content Specialist responsible to define and orchestrate the Experience & Engagement communication strategy for our Smoke-free Products portfolio (IQOS, VEEV & ZYN) across the Central America, Caribbean & Andean (CCA) cluster. The role addresses two audiences: External Engagement—designing the strategy and content toolboxes for (i) Events (brand activations and experiential moments), (ii) Legal-Age Meeting Points (LAMPs) such as bars, restaurants, nightclubs, and consumption zones, and (iii) Community Programs (brand-ambassador initiatives); and Internal Engagement—developing the communication strategy, materials and programs to engage our employees and field sales forces (e.g. internal launches, portfolio news, and employee engagement plans). Working with agencies, the role turns strategy into channel-specific communication plans and assets that bring activations to life across these touchpoints, ensuring alignment with brand business objectives, consistency with global brand guidelines, and full compliance with local and internal regulations.
Accountabilities
- Define the brand strategies and content toolboxes per brand and market for Events (brand activations/experiential moments), Legal-Age Meeting Points (LAMPs), and Community Programs (brand-ambassador initiatives), aligned to brand objectives and priority audiences.
- Build the brand strategy and content toolboxes for employees and field sales forces (internal launches, portfolio news, employee engagement plans) to connect internal audiences with our brands and narratives.
- Lead briefs and creative development with external agencies; deliver channel-specific assets and toolboxes on time/in full and on budget, consistent with global brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Portfolio, CX, Deployment, Sales, Legal and External Affairs to ensure alignment and consistency in the Experience & Engagement channels' communication strategies across the CCA Cluster.
- Design, pilot, and scale Communities Programs (brand-ambassadors): define profiles, mechanics, recruitment/onboarding process, toolkits, incentive models, KPIs, and compliance guardrails.
- Work closely with Legal and External Affairs to ensure visuals, materials and messages meet local regulatory requirements and internal standards. Oversee the internal process workflow to secure timely approvals for all Experience & Engagement communications and content.
- Stay immersed in local scenes to capture on-the-ground insights about trends, audiences, and venues. Translate those insights into structured recommendations (venue shortlists, participation rationales, activation ideas, toolbox needs, KPI hypotheses) for local market teams.
- Set KPIs and track channel performance by country (e.g., qualified reach, quality engagements, opt-ins where permitted, content cadence, cost per engagement). Manage the content-creation/activation budget, monitor spend vs. plan by brand/market, and partner with Finance for re-forecasting and variance management.
Skills and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business or related fields.
