Introducing smoke-free products shifts the focus of our entire business. We’re fast moving from a B2B to a B2C model – and our newly created Customer Centric Organization (CCO) team is driving that commercial transformation. Their role is to understand customer conversion journeys in different international markets, then to find the best ways to connect with smokers and convince them to switch to reduced-risk products.
Philip Morris Spain is seeking talented people to join our sales team. As a sales supervisor you will plan and coordinate efficient use of all resources assigned in your area, in accordance with defined policies and strategies and the guidelines set out by the Area Manager. This is aimed at developing the business as much as possible in the corresponding market, by guaranteeing that the objectives marked for volume, devices, market share, visibility, contacts with consumers and presence.
Your ‘day to day’
• Business Plan
Prepare and propose the business plan for the area, which will integrate the national and regional strategic guidelines and the proposals made by the team. The purpose is to set up a holistic plan according to consumer journey considering: consumers profile, touchpoints, retail ecosystem and key events in the area.
• Control and Follow U
Follow up on and ensure compliance with the objectives for the territory that are established in the business plan for the sales team and ensure that previously established budgets are met. The aim is to detect and analyze possible deviations and take/propose corrective measures, as the case may be.
• Management and Team Organization 80% of the job in field.
Lead and motivate in order to assure the excellence in the execution of the team including (territory executives and Sales Experts) through joint field visits with the team, day 2 day training to the team and follow-up of field visits and development visits to guarantee the correct building of team capabilities, usage of tools, etc.
• New Business Opportunities
Search for new business opportunities in order to improve the performance of the team, by liaising with the central teams in order to magnify: Awareness, adoption and retention of consumers (ie. MGM, Shop in Shops, etc).
Who we’re looking for
• University Degree
• Master Degree (valuable)
• Native or near native in Spanish and fluent in English (C1)
• Proven experience as a Supervisor or similar sales roles, ideally managing commercial teams.
• Excellent communication skills
• Valid EU work permit.
• Solution-oriented, analytical and creative problem solver with excellent knowledge in sales.
