THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you will supervise and develop the manufacturing quality team to continuously support production while ensuring quality on the floor. You will be responsible for compliance with quality systems and regulations for both conventional and risk-reduced products.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Ensuring compliance with PMI and legal standards related to environment, health, safety, and sustainability.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, support best practices, and drive corrective actions.
- Acting as a key stakeholder in quality processes, ensuring that quality requirements align with manufacturing standards.
- Providing first-level technical support for troubleshooting material issues and ensuring proper escalation to relevant teams.
- Providing full support to the production in case of non-conformities and negative trends. Guide and coordinate Quality team members during investigations, risk assessment, and root cause analysis.
- Managing and developing a motivated and skilled team to ensure performance levels, professional development, and achievement of objectives in respect of PMI leadership model.
- For RRP products, ensuring a disposel/review/approbation of Batch Control and other production/Quality backup for the Quality review of batch records and batch control release by reviewing the compliance, accuracy, and integrity of data. Ensure timely calibration and maintenance of at-line Quality instruments and proper functionality.
- Acting as a Pillar Member of the assigned pillar, contributing to the full-year pillar plan definition and implementation aligned with OPEN+ Phase journey. Participating in and contributing to pillar reviews definition and implementation as per defined frequency. Responsible for the implementation of standard work processes defined in Pillars.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master degree in Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2-3 years in quality assurance or equivalent roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and QMS.
- Familiarity with international standards (ISO).
- Advances knowledge of quality tools, root cause analysis, and analytical methods.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in English.
- Proven leadership skills.
