THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you will lead engineering investments and Factory Integrated Facilities Management Services (IFMS) at site level, ensuring safe, compliant and cost-efficient operations while driving performance, reliability and long-term competitiveness. As a senior member of the Factory Management Team, you will translate factory strategy into structured engineering and facility programs. You will oversee capital investments, utilities reliability, contractor governance and service performance, ensuring alignment with PMI global standards and regulatory requirements. You will combine technical expertise, structured project governance and people leadership to strengthen operational excellence and infrastructure performance across the site.
Responsibilities of this role:
- Lead end-to-end execution of engineering investment projects (from design to commissioning), ensuring delivery on scope, timing, budget and quality.
- Define and execute the site IFMS strategy in alignment with factory objectives and COE governance.
- Manage third-party IFMS and facility service providers; monitor and enforce SLA and KPI performance.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply and reliability of utilities (electricity, steam, gas, water, energy systems and infrastructure).
- Prepare, justify and control annual CAPEX and OPEX budgets; ensure disciplined financial governance and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, GMP, ISO and PMI standards across all engineering and contractor activities.
- Drive predictive and preventive maintenance strategies to enhance asset reliability.
- Lead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives within engineering and facility services.
- Conduct risk assessments, root cause analyses (RCA) and implement corrective action plans.
- Negotiate and manage service contracts to ensure operational continuity and business availability.
- Lead, coach and develop technical teams to achieve performance, safety and productivity targets.
- Ensure change management processes and equipment standardization are applied consistently across the site.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil or equivalent technical discipline).
- 8–10 years of experience in technical/engineering environments within manufacturing or industrial operations, including proven exposure to managerial or leadership responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading CAPEX investment projects end-to-end, ensuring structured project governance and performance delivery.
- Experience managing Factory Integrated Facilities Management Services (IFMS) or industrial facility services, including third-party contractor management, SLA/KPI governance and utilities reliability.
- Financial & Cost Management
