Philip Morris International (PMI) is seeking a strategic and dynamic Manager Field Force to enhance our commercial strategies and secure our leadership in conventional products while accelerating the growth of smoke-free alternatives.

In this role, you will design and lead the deployment of commercial strategies through our sales field teams (B2B and B2C) across various channels. Your expertise will be crucial in setting up these strategies and ensuring their successful execution. Goal achievement is typically accomplished through the performance of direct and/or indirect reports.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, define, and develop sales objectives, strategies, and action plans for different channels with the team of Field Sales Managers and key stakeholders (District Managers, Key Account, B2C, Trade Engagement, smoke free products, and combustible portfolio).
  • Set priorities, targets, and supervise the planning and execution for different channels, both B2B and B2C, in collaboration with Commercial Planning to maximize impact.
  • Create a positive and collaborative team spirit that empowers people and enables personal growth. Coach the Field Sales Managers and ensure transparent communication within the team and with other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to identify opportunities and implement high-quality solutions for our consumers.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (retailers, trade partners).
  • Forecast, get approval, allocate, and manage the annual budget to maximize financial resources and achieve agreed sales and profitability goals.

  • You have a minimum of 6 years of commercial experience, with cross-functional experience highly valued.
  • You have people management experience (direct or indirect reports).

  • You have an agile and collaborative style.
  • You have a natural talent for motivating and developing people.
  • You demonstrate curiosity and diverse ways of thinking to create and experiment with new ideas to benefit our consumers.
  • You have strategic thinking and a growth mindset, enabling you to be resilient and adapt to a changing work environment.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
