THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you will act as the operational coordination hub between the Bergen op Zoom manufacturing site, Logistics Service Providers (3PLs), and internal stakeholders across the European supply chain. You are responsible for ensuring that logistics flow smoothly, where physical movements, SAP system data, and communication are fully aligned. You will manage day-to-day operations, resolve issues, and ensure that all stakeholders remain aligned.

 

This role requires a hands-on, proactive mindset, where you take ownership of operational performance while knowing when to escalate and when to act independently. You will work in a fast-paced factory environment, where accuracy, communication, and decision-making directly impact service level, cost efficiency, and operational continuity.



Responsibilities of the role:

  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics flows between factory, 3PLs, and internal stakeholders  
  • Act as the main point of contact for operational logistics topics and issue resolution  
  • Ensure alignment between physical flows, SAP data, and documentation  
  • Identify, assess, and resolve operational issues or escalate when needed  
  • Monitor logistics performance and support continuous improvement initiatives  
  • Ensure accurate and precise handling of data and documentation  
  • Collaborate closely with team members and support overall team performance  

 

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field  
  • Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations  
  • Experience working with SAP (mandatory)  
  • Experience in operational environments (e.g. manufacturing, warehouse, 3PL)  
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal  
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)  
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail  
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and make decisions in a dynamic environment
