THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you will join our Quality Control Laboratory and gain hands-on experience across our QC processes in a modern, well-equipped lab. You’ll learn and contribute while being coached by experienced team leads and collaborating with international colleagues.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in, learn, and observe Quality Control processes and Good Laboratory practices.
- Perform chemical and physical analyses using simple and complex laboratory methods and instruments (e.g., Gas Chromatography).
- Support validation and continuous-improvement activities; help optimize methods and workflows.
- Assist on day-to-day QC tasks and quality projects to ensure accurate, timely quality reporting.
- Document results in line with PMI Quality Requirements and data-integrity standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and cross-functional partners.
- Apply problem-solving and Lean thinking to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Currently enrolled Bachelor (3rd year or above) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Internship availability of 6–10 months, starting September 2025; 40 hours per week.
- Strong command of English and Dutch (written and spoken).
- Proficient computer and MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer-focused, proactive, and analytical mindset.
- High energy, curiosity, and motivation to learn; keen interest in continuous improvement.
