THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you will serve as a key member of the Philip Morris Trade Marketing team, where you will manage and coordinate the execution of in-store marketing campaigns and commercial visibility initiatives across The Netherlands. You will act as a central point of contact between sales and marketing teams, ensuring smooth implementation of POSM (Point of Sale Materials) and communication plans across the field.

This role will report to the In-Store Communication Manager and will work closely with both internal business functions and external partners such as merchandising agencies, suppliers, and retail partners. You will play an essential role in executing our trade strategies and driving commercial excellence at the point of sale.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Coordinate the implementation of in-store marketing campaigns, based on retail and marketing calendars.
  • Ensure effective communication between Sales and Marketing, including retro planning, agency briefings, and POP compliance reviews.
  • Manage administrative support activities, including creating and tracking purchase orders.
  • Lead the coordination, placement, and maintenance of POS materials based on project and market needs.
  • Assist in the development or adaptation of new POSM in collaboration with suppliers and managers.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency within internal systems such as ISMS and BI.
  • Support internal stakeholders in delivering project objectives through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Act as a proactive and reliable partner within the Trade Engagement team, bringing structure, clarity, and visibility to our in-store execution activities.

 

 

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor or Master degree in a commercial field.
  • Min 2-3 years of project management experience.
  • Strong commercial mindset, with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Skilled in administrative work, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
  • Interest in retail, marketing, and technology.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels.
  • Willing to travel weekly to HQ in Berchem and within the Netherlands.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
