THE OPPORTUNITY

Your mission: drive end to end logistics performance, elevate customer experience, and ensure our global network is primed for sustainable growth. Responsibilities of this role:

  • Global Deployment & Capability Building: lead the global rollout of proven logistics services and capabilities by partnering closely with central and local stakeholders across IT, Finance, Customer Service, Commercial, LSPs, and key customers, act as a catalyst for global alignment, ensuring markets adopt standardized, scalable, and future proof logistics solutions, and contribute to the company’s strategic knowledge base and support global transformation programs through data driven insights.
  • Performance & Continuous Improvement: drive continuous performance enhancement across cost, service levels, and sustainability areas in alignment with global logistics strategy, design and deploy performance management and governance frameworks that ensure PMI, LSPs, and Customers deliver expected benefits, define KPIs, set targets, and establish structured review cadences to ensure both robust operational controls and strategic oversight, oversee day-to-day logistics execution globally, enabling markets to accelerate direct to consumer initiatives and strengthen relationships with strategic B2B partners, including national distributors, and lead structured performance and process reviews, elevating loss analysis, root cause management, and value creation capabilities through analytical tools and benchmarking. cause management, and value creation capabilities through analytical tools and benchmarking.
  • Logistics Service Provider Strategy: partner with Procurement and market teams to drive strategic LSP selection, development, and performance management, guide RFP processes to ensure solutions meet global standards, maximize synergy opportunities, and support long-term strategic fit, lead the definition and validation of SLA and MSA frameworks across internal stakeholder groups (Finance, Procurement, Markets, Quality, Security, IT, Tax), shape negotiation strategies for critical contract elements — including confidentiality, termination clauses, subcontracting, liability, and bonus/penalty structures — ensuring PMI’s competitiveness and risk mitigation.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related topics
  • 10+ years of diverse Supply Chain experience, ideally spanning multiple subject areas within large, complex, international FMCG or consumer electronics organizations.
  • Recent (last 2-3 years) experience creating and implementing D2C/B2B strategies, to include  route-to-market, logistics, last mile services, global cross-border shipments, reverse logistics strategies.
  • Knowledge of logistics suppliers and IT service companies in direct-to-consumer network, with proven experience of leading collaborative logistics outsourcing relationships across a wide range of geographies and hierarchy levels
  • Effective negotiation, communication and influencing skills with the ability to inspire change in situations of decentralized highly matrixed organizations and across a diverse audience.
  • Ability to quickly process and understand complexity & ambiguity and define right solutions to tough problems. Has curiosity to look for new ways & opportunities to bring value, simplify processes and/or reduce cost.
