As a Manager DIM Ingredients & Chemicals, you will support the management of product groups within the Ingredients & Chemicals sector, combining operational sourcing activities with strategic procurement initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop commodity expertise and grow toward broader category ownership responsibilities.

 

Your Impact

 

In this role, you will:

• Support sustainability initiatives and ensure adherence to sustainability standards.
• Implement sourcing strategies and contribute to annual category plans.
• Manage supplier selection processes, RFx activities, negotiations, and contract implementation.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships while monitoring performance across quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
• Prepare, negotiate, and manage contracts and pricing agreements in line with internal policies.
• Monitor commodity market trends, cost drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Identify and drive cost optimization and value creation initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of sourced materials in collaboration with Quality and Regulatory teams.
• Support supply continuity through supplier qualification, risk mitigation, and contingency planning.
• Partner with Manufacturing, R&D, Finance, Quality, and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

 

What We're Looking For

 

• 3-6 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Technical, Quality, or related functions.
• Experience in direct materials procurement, preferably within chemicals, ingredients, FMCG, or related industries.
• Hands-on experience with supplier negotiations, sourcing processes, and contract management.
• Exposure to commodity-based categories and dynamic market environments.
• Understanding of chemical raw material markets and key cost drivers.
• Familiarity with chemical, ingredient, adhesive, excipient, or specialty chemical supply chains is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements such as EUDR, REACH, CLP, or FDA.
• Experience with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis is a plus.
