Position: Financial Controlling Analyst: Belgrade, Serbia
Purpose of Role:
Monitor realization of the actual cost vs budget, prepare budget & forecast calculations on defined accounts, provide standard, ad-hoc and scenario-based analysis for costs, balance sheet & net working capital.
Accountability
Design & Continuous Improvement
- Apply understanding of assigned business process to identify gaps and propose continuous improvement measures
- Work closely with Manager to understand root causes and represent process procedures, practicalities and exceptions
Execution
- Collect assumptions on overheads & business expenses, consolidate budget and provide input to PBF&R tool for OB and RFs
- Review and validate period end accruals for PO and non-PO expenses based on defined criteria; post manual accruals for commercial investments
- Collect assumptions on Balance Sheet forecast, capturing business dynamics and provide B/S and Cash Flow input to the system
- Provide standard, ad hoc and scenario- based analysis on B/S, Net Working Capital and costs, including multidimensional view (Consumer Journey, ZBS, PBO)
- Prepare analysis supporting resource allocation and investments planning advisory aimed at cost optimization and RRP growth
- Escalate material deviations and propose corrective actions to Manager Finance Controlling
- Support the markets / region during the budget cycles (LRP/OB/RF/LE) in collaboration with Records to Record organization to ensure Legal Entity financials preparation
- Support Manager Finance Controlling in controlling tasks, e.g. SOX
- Prepare analysis and support for internal and external audit requirements, liaising with the auditors and colleagues across the business as required
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Finance and Understanding of corproate finance as well as financial statement analysis and controls (Finance Analyst)
- Previous experience on SAP
- Strong analytical skills and experience in development/maintenance of financial models
- Proficient user of MS Office
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Agile and innovative approach in problem solving
- Fast Learner with ability to navigate across various backgrounds
- Demonstration of Curiosity with ability to take initiative
- Experience in accounting
- Experience in financial planning (budget and reporting)
