Your ‘day to day’
As a Commercial Budget Analyst, you will act as an essential connection between the Finance and Commercial departments for Serbian market. Your daily duties include tracking and aligning commercial expenses with the approved budget. You will prepare and consolidate reports (SAP, Tagetik) and provide accurate data to management to support timely decisions. You will take part in all phases of the budgeting cycle, monthly closings, and RF proposal processes, ensuring all postings meet US GAAP and local rules. Working with local teams, you will identify alignments, improve processes, and help create models to measure value. You will coordinate calculations and receivables control for key customers and share financial knowledge with colleagues. This ensures precise, clear, and timely financial support for the business.
- Engage in every phase of the budgeting cycle, from zero-based data collection to analysis and consolidation. Work closely with the Commercial Department throughout. Provide accurate and timely budget details in the Tagetik system. Assist the Manager with analyzing and consolidating the commercial budget for Serbian market.
- Monthly Cost Reporting: Generate monthly commercial cost reports for the Serbian market and frequently review SAP reports to confirm postings. This ensures full compliance with US GAAP standards and local laws.
- Month-End Closing Support: Engage proactively in month end closing processes by providing timely information related to the commercial budget. Confirm that all commercial expenses are accounted for in the period they arise. Assist the Manager with preparing directives to enable correct year end accrual activities within the commercial organization.
- RF Proposal Preparation: Generate RF proposal reports for Serbian market based on Finance directions. Verify that every authorized update is made accurately and without delay in the Tagetik system.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Deliver efficient service and assistance to multiple departments within the Commercial Organization, guaranteeing adaptability, seamless cooperation, and exchange of knowledge in finance to back requested analyses (Commercial Services, Procurement, Key Accounts, etc.).
- Key Accounts Invoice Management: Prepare monthly/quarterly/tertiary invoices for key accounts and local retail chains in accordance with signed commercial agreements. Oversee the approval, posting, and payment process for all calculated invoices.
- Budget Consolidation & Value Analysis Support: Aggregate the commercial budget for Serbia and communicate successful methods with markets throughout the cluster. Support the Manager in developing and using models to assess and compare value across different budget categories.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a multinational company
- Proven track record of working with SAP and other financial systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English
- Valid driving license
