Introducing smoke-free products shifts the focus of our entire business. Purpose of the job
The VM Regional Coordinator is responsible for providing back-office and operational support to commercial channels. This role ensures the governance, optimization, and continuous improvement of tools, processes, and operations involving internal channel teams and external partners/distributors. The position contributes to efficient channel performance through contract management, reporting, communication infrastructure support, and issue resolution.
The role requires analytical skills, the ability to follow established processes, and the capacity to manage moderately complex projects within the channel operations area.
Main accountabilities:
- Responsible for the back office support of commercial channels.
- Participates in the governance of different channels' operations, tools, and processes for channel teams and external partners/distributors, including optimization and improvement of different processes.
- Communicates with the sales team to gather and document technical, product and contract requirements regarding the implementation and ongoing maintenance of products and/or services.
- Contract management including KPIs monitoring and invoicing.
- Other management of all related passive communication infrastructure (temporary & permanent point of sales materials) and customer support e.g., managing customer inquiries.
- Prepares reports related to channel allocated budget, customer inquiries, sales trends, customer complaints, delivery/service problems, reasons for product return, etc.
What we are looking for:
- University degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or related fields.
- Valid work permit for Spain.
- Driving license (held for at least 1 year).
- 2–4 years of experience in indirect channels, vending, FMCG distribution, or point‑of‑sale management
- Strong understanding of vending machine operations, including replenishment, basic maintenance, and route management.
- High analytical capability to interpret distribution KPIs, sales performance, stock levels, incidents, and coverage.
- Experience managing budgets and territorial allocations.
- Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders: operators, account managers, technicians, runners.
- Strong negotiation skills, especially in distribution or placement agreements.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and operational planning skills.
- Experience with CRM tools and reporting platforms.
- Previous experience collaborating with Trade Marketing or Field Force teams.
- Advanced in Excel (pivot tables, basic dashboards, provincial‑level analysis).
- Ability to manage operational databases and prepare executive‑level reports.
Preferred Industry
- Vending / FMCG / Retail / Distribution / Logistics / HORECA channel.
- Experience working with indirect channels, external distributors, or operator networks.
- Previous experience in regulated industries is a plus.
Language Proficiency
- Spanish: full professional proficiency.
- English: B2 level
Mobility / Location
- Primary location: Barcelona.
- Willingness to travel across the provinces of Catalonia and Aragón (visits, audits, negotiations, deployment follow‑up).
