Strategic:•Develop and implement a vendor management strategy specific to the service line (e.g., P2P, R2R, O2C, Tax) that aligns with the broader function and organizational goals.•Lead and manage the processes within the service line, ensuring seamless integration of vendor activities with business operations.•Liaise with service line heads to understand business requirements.•Collaborate with vendors to ensure alignment with business objectives.•Lead cross-functional initiatives to align vendor strategies with organizational goals and market demands.•Monitor the overall health of vendor management programs, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and key objectives.•Support in developing and managing the vendor portfolio strategy to align with business objectives.•Provide market benchmarks and ensure contractual terms align with organizational goals and compliance standards.Advisory:•Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on vendor-related matters, presenting data-driven recommendations for decision-making.•Act as the primary escalation point for procurement and payment issues.•Support in drafting, negotiation, and execution of vendor contracts.•Conduct vendor performance reviews and ensure corrective actions are implemented.•Provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on vendor performance reviews and analysis.•BAU Management:•Responsible for the overall management of the relationship with the different types of vendors.•Develop and update the roadmap for the vendor relationship, in coordination with other internal teams and vendors..•Oversee vendor performance, monitor SLAs, KPIs, and resolve any issues. Lead vendor governance activities, including periodic performance reviews.•Track and monitor vendor performance across key metrics (e.g., quality, timeliness, cost) and ensure vendors are meeting or exceeding performance expectations.•Manage the service line’s vendor budget, ensuring that costs are kept within budget while maximizing value from vendor relationships.•Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations effectively.
