Position Title:  Data Analyst

Philip Morris Azerbaijan is looking for a Data Analyst. You will be responsible for continuously providing PM Azerbaijan management team with structured and up-to-date information about the market and business, potential threats and opportunities, as well as market performance analysis contributing to the decision-making process.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Data Analyst, you will:

1. Prepare and submit regular and ad hoc reports on operating Products activities in accordance with Planning standards, schedules, instructions, and internal/external requests to support management decisions:
   • All weekly/monthly/quarter/Year End reports in line with the reporting instructions.
   • All supplemental automated reports/analysis.
   • All monthly/quarter/Year End reports requested by the local management.
   • Internal templates agreed with the direct supervisor.
   • Data extract requests needed for research purposes.
2. Support team members in defining the scope, format, and quality standards for different reporting to ensure the highest quality, reliability, and relevance to business tasks.
3. Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide insights
4. Continuously analyze the effectiveness of the standard reporting process, providing solid and structured feedback on the scope of reports, their content, and relevance, with further recommendations on improvements to support the decision-making process.
5. Organize ad-hoc analyses based on available datasets to understand trends, market situations, and business dynamics. Gather data from various sources, including external sources.

Required Qualifications (optional)

• University Degree in Business, Mathematics, Data Science.
• 1-2 years of working experience in Reporting, Business Intelligence, Planning, Research departments.
• Proficient Azeri, English and Russian speaker.
• Decent knowledge of data visualization tools – Power BI, Tableau.
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools – especially Excel.
• Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Ready to work under strict deadlines and multitasking skills.
