  Your ‘day to day’:

 

The Sustainability Coordinator assessing environmental impact, creating and promoting sustainable practices, and educating stakeholders about sustainability.  They also monitor progress, report on results, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

 

Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities

 

  • Collaborate within the division and global sustainability teams to meet business sustainability goals and development of initiatives to achieve those goals
  • Organize, lead and follow-up with key departments that play significant roles in sustainability challenges to develop factory initiatives to meet company sustainability index with precise targets in place
  • Collect and analyze data, verify accuracy, resolve issues and investigate variances to understand and communicate trends and root causes for Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions
  • Contribute to annual reporting, including timely and accurate preparation of materials regarding greenhouse gas emissions and consumption
  • Develop reports and assist with the development of dashboards to monitor key- sustainability data and overall effectiveness of sustainability program
  • Benchmark company sustainability initiatives and performance against suppliers based on annual reports and assisting through internal departmental discussions
  • Recommend, develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to automate data collection, including improving data quality and timely availability
  • Lead and assist current factory sustainability performance and identify potential improvement areas for continuous improvement
  • Analyze current emission factors and evaluate/lead supplier specific emission factors for emission sources
  • Investigate carbon offset projects related to energy and material usage
  • Assists in planning, organizing, and controlling sustainability project budget
  • Assumes responsibility for professional development through participation in continuing education offerings that maintain and update knowledge of ESG/ GHG practices and protocols
  • Assist in development of corporate annual sustainability reports
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Who we’re looking for:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent field experience required
  • Past working experience in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards.
  • Knowledge in Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Reporting preferred. Science-based targets (SBTi) knowledge preferred.
  • Must possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel.
  • Must be able to pick up new topics quickly, analyze information, compose reports, and effectively communicate to departmental teams.
  •  Excellent organizational, time and project management skills, and attention to detail are essential. Must be self-directed and able to exercise initiative within the scope of assigned authority.
  •  Ability to maintain confidentiality, a must.
  • Fluent in English
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Required)

 

Annual Base Salary Range: $88,000 – $110,000
