The Production Line Manager acts as a role model on the shop floor, sustaining Manufacturing Area standards, coordinating teams to deliver objectives, and driving business success through the OPEN+ model and tools.
Your day-to-day:
- Serve as a role model for the shift crew by ensuring compliance with safety standards, housekeeping requirements, and asset care procedures. Escalate equipment and process anomalies to maintain machinery in optimal working condition.
- Support Value Stream activities to achieve production volume objectives efficiently, with a strong focus on waste reduction. Utilize OPEN+ tools to identify root causes of inefficiencies, measure performance, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
- Coach and develop teams to improve productivity, safety, and quality, ensuring deviations are identified and addressed through timely corrective actions.
- Organize, supervise, and coach direct and indirect reports according to the line structure.
- Recommend and implement organizational and staffing strategies through effective hiring, training, assessment, and employee development.
Who we're looking for:
- Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3-5 years of experience working on a production floor.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies preferred.
- Workforce scheduling and resource management experience.
- Knowledge of quality control and quality assurance standards.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or equivalent.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP, and PLM.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, teamwork, customer service, learning agility, and attention-to-detail skills.
Annual Base Salary Range: $94,400 - $121,000
