Your ‘day to day’:
We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to help keep our production equipment running safely, reliably, and efficiently. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and improve mechanical systems while working closely with production and maintenance teams. You’ll be a hands-on technical expert who helps solve problems, prevent breakdowns, and support continuous improvement.
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Maintain and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
- Troubleshoot machinery issues and act as the first point of contact for equipment breakdowns
- Perform preventive, planned, and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment uptime
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process changes
- Follow safety procedures and promote a strong safety-first culture
- Work with quality and production teams to prevent defects and improve product quality
- Use a computerized maintenance system (CMMS) to log work, parts, and repairs
- Keep technical documentation and maintenance records up to date
- Coach and support production teams in resolving equipment issues
- Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities
Who we’re looking for:
Required Qualifications
- Technical School diploma or equivalent (Mechanical / Industrial preferred)
- At least 1 year of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar)
- Ability to read and follow technical procedures and documentation
- Fluent in English
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (required)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Familiarity with maintenance best practices or continuous improvement tools
- Experience working in a production or manufacturing setting
Hourly Rate: $36/ hour
