As an Electronic Technician, you will be part of our Production—Technical Services Department. The position will be based in Aurora, Colorado.

Important note: Our Factory in Aurora, Colorado, will operate 24x7, and the role includes Rotating Shifts.

 

Your 'day to day’

 

  • Maintain the electrical equipment conditions/standards and perform activities on the assigned equipment to ensure continuous and reliable operation and maximize production and product quality according to PMI safety standards.
  • Expert in performing various duties in the electric, electronic, and electromechanical areas, including electrical hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and programming.
  • Resolve electrical breakdowns and perform proper equipment settings and adjustments or technical modifications. Identify the source of each technical problem, take appropriate actions to solve it, and eliminate the possibility of re-occurrence.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Lead and participate in advanced problem-solving activities.
  • Assist in configuration, parametrization, troubleshooting, and complex process control systems modifications to build ownership and team autonomy.
  • Act as a technical reference for the development and innovation of improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency, reliability, and maintenance.
  • Define process control systems settings and methodologies to reduce machine downtime and waste, and increase quality and efficiency levels.
  • Propose and implement programming modifications and innovations to improve product quality, machine performance, and operational KPIs.
  • You'll be responsible for constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, and maintaining our equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Proficient in reading Engineering drawings and electrical schematics, diagrams, and manuals.
  • Ability to read and write ladder logic and understand equipment programs.
  • Close cooperation with Mechanical Technicians in performing maintenance activities to keep the equipment in base condition.
  • Manage electrical spare parts availability and proper equipment use. Track software modification and documentation.
  • Support the creation of work instructions and standards for electrical tasks.

 

Who are we looking for:

 

    • Proven experience in industrial automation (PLC, ControlLogix/Studio5000, Allen Bradley electrical hardware)
    • Control Logix experience highly desired.
    • 3+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment as an electrical technician
    • Technical Degree or University degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent experience
    • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime.
    • Physical ability to stand for 12 hours and perform repetitive tasks.
    • Physical Requirement: The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
    • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Fluency in English (verbal & written)

    • Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work with others through conflicting personalities.
    • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

 

Hourly Salary: $36.00
