JOB TITLE ASSET ENGINEER

Purpose: Plan and manage assets in an effective way, ensuring optimal equipment availability and reliability through assets’ life cycle by developing and implementing of proper maintenance strategies, procedures and routines.

Accountability 1 SUSTAINABILITY

Ensure compliance to all PMI and legal standards, policies and guidelines related to Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset or societal loss. Act and promote an interdependent and transparent safety culture fostering the utilization of preventive/predictive approach in line with Open+/IOS

Accountability 2 QUALITY

Ensure and update the asset register for equipment. Integrate new equipment, pursue necessary risk assessments, provide input for preparation of related documentation in order to fully comply with legislation and internal procedures. Ensure all machine documentation are updated and available. Follow-up machine standardization plan link to process improvements and keep it update, being sure that Change Management process is strictly followed Responsible for optimal maintenance standards in quality perspective

Accountability 3 DELIVERY

Ensure maintenance planning and scheduling in order to maximixe the availability of the equipment Develop and/or improve proactive and cost effective maintenance strategy based on suitable techniques and procedures. Participate in the process of scouting new suppliers, in order to identify potential improvements in terms of cost and quality. Ensure that maintenance processes and data is reflected in relevant maintenance systems (SAP/CMMS) and/or logbooks. Ensure coordination between production and engineering department for the preparation of technical specifications in case of new machinery purchase. Review and authorize the documentation link to new machinery purchase to ensure it meets best practices needed for equipment, work ergonomics and business. Create and maintain data record, monitor data integrity and request master data change, can own one technology for the total site/cross BU. Participates in design of new technologies at early stage. SPOC for COE & OEM, VSU team member, member of Technology Owners community at regional/global level. Lead Reapplication Management (RM) for his/her technology

Accountability 4 COST

Work out and budget annual maintenance and spare partis in conjunction with maintenance supervisors and production manager and ensure proper and timely implementation of these plans. Review reliability of existing equipment that is difficult, costly or safety risky to maintain and recommend appropriate action. Analyze most frequent machine downtimes and develop substantial solutions against root causes to eliminate, or drastically reduce machine downtime in order to bring about overall productivity improvements Define spare parts requirements estimation and min-max level of spare part stock for all equipment.

Accountability 5 MORALE

Communicate in timely manner on loss elimination priorities, plans and responsibilities to ensure cross-functional alignment. Share knowledge and methods to encourage and foster benchmarking, reapplication and continuous improvement. Take responsibility for the completion of own training plan and comply with the requirements established in the Qualification Matrix.

Act as Pillar Member of the assigned pillar Cooperate with the Line Lead for implementation of Standard work process defined in Pillars (PM, Breakdown elimination, etc) Ensure self and qualify team capabilities based on step-up cards according to IOS/OPEN+ in autonomous/self-sufficient teams Develop the capability of the team on preventive/predictive techniques, technical mastering and technical troubleshooting through coaching and delivering on the job training
