Your day-to-day:
- Implement data governance policies, processes and standards.
- Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders to ensure data quality and compliance, and confidentiality.
- Lead local data governance initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and company policies.· Monitor and enforce data governance policies and procedures.
- Conduct data quality assessments and audits to ensure reliable and high-quality data in the market.
- Identify, solve, and execute solutions to improve data reliability and quality.
- Work with Data Engineers and Data Scientists and other business and IT stakeholders to integrate data governance policies into data pipelines and models.· Provide training and support to staff on data governance best practices.
- Utilize technologies such as Snowflake, Atlan, LeanIX, to manage and govern data.
- Report on data governance metrics and KPIs to senior management.
Who we're looking for:
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data management or similar role.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with business, analytics, and IT stakeholders to solve problems and orchestrate data governance efforts.
- Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., DAMA, CDMP).
- Experience with data management tools.
- Familiarity with machine learning and AI applications in data governance.· Strong project management skills.
