The Business Partner (Analytics Translator) plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. This role involves building strong partnerships with senior stakeholders, translating business questions into actionable analytics solutions, and driving the adoption of these solutions to deliver measurable business value. The Business Partner will work closely with various departments to help them understand their data, make informed business decisions, and tell compelling data stories.

 
 
Your day-to-day:
  • Lead analytics initiatives for business questions/needs within a specific functional domain.
  • Manage data-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Build partnerships with senior stakeholders, including heads of business processes in areas such as Brand, Commercial, Consumer, and Programs.
  • Identify and size business opportunities, providing data-driven consulting to market leaders.
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to ensure data-driven recommendations are based on robust analysis.
  • Translate business questions into tangible analytics solutions and influence business leaders with data-backed insights.
  • Manage analytics products within a specific functional area for the market.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver agreed outcomes, including individuals with various analytics capabilities.
  • Provide problem-solving support to the product team during analytics solution conceptualization and delivery.
  • Drive the adoption and value proposition of analytics solutions in the market.
  • Utilize agile methodology to deliver value in an iterative, incremental manner.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights.
  • Develop data models to support business processes and decision-making.
  • Create detailed reports and interactive dashboards using BI tools.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of methodologies and processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data analysis.

 

Who we're looking for:

  • Senior stakeholder management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or business analysis roles.
  • Strong skills in value realization, collaboration, negotiation, influence, and strategic vision.
  • Experience with data governance principles to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI.
  • Relevant certifications like CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or data analytics certifications.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into tangible analytical solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI to create interactive dashboards.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, including the ability to convey strategic vision and to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and propose solutions.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Technical proficiency with Data & Analytics technologies.
  • Experience with multiple iterations of successful Agile delivery for analytical solutions.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and provide meaningful insights.
  • Storytelling skills to get data to tell a story in a simple manner.
  • Ability to perform ad hoc analysis and share results effectively.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is preferable.
