Your Responsibilities
1. Planning & Reporting:
- Plan weekly visits and agree with CM at beginning of the week/month
- Send regular (weekly and monthly) performance reports to CM:
- Team presence (supervisors and TEs) and Market actual Market coverage (daily)
- Bootsales performance by area and total (Weekly and monthly)
- IMS performance Total (Weekly and monthly)
- Highlights on key pain points or opportunities to tap into - Ensure regular team supervision through field visit (min. twice per week)
- Support the CM in the preparation of the short and long range business plans, in order to allow optimal resource allocation or reallocation
- Performance analysis by territory to assess potential vs performance each territory by analysing reports, interventions, competition, and historical data (monthly)
- Measure results based on objectives, identify opportunities and suggest corrective interventions when necessary
- Ensure CM is kept fully up to date on all field & trade activities and related matters
2. Commercial Organization:
- Define territory sales strategy
- Drive adequate territories delimitation
- Allocate appropriate resources (FSF, POSM, MEs etc) per area
- Set clear objectives and track progress for each territory - Drive Excellent execution in Market and/or Consumer activation programs
- Quarterly audit of Talos database vs actual POS coverage, (ensure dormant POS are removed and replaced) Follow-up with TS to ensure TE keeps Talos back end team updated on changes in their coverage
- Stay abreast of team capability building needs and address skill gaps with support from CCD team
- Anticipate FSF exits (contract expiry or disciplinary measures) and proactively prepare for seamless transition
3. Marketing and Trade marketing:
- Leverage commercial organization to drive brand awareness and build long lasting brand image including in a restricted advertising environment. Measure this through retail knowledge of PMI portfolio and brand names through direct retail interviews
- Support marketing activities implementation in order to meet agreed sales volume and market share objectives, from concept creation to in-market execution & evaluation
- Build preferential relationship with weighted POS to establish a dominant brand visibility, regularly assessing PM shelf & wallet share vs total category performance
- Report any information that is related to the business i.e. competitor activities - trade programs, NPLs, RTM upgrades etc
4. Merchandising:
- Ensure availability and visibility of our brands at POS:
- Plan & monitor effective placement of PPOSM to optimize visibility - Conduct compliance checks on planograms, visibility and promotional execution. Evaluate quality of execution and provide immediate feedback to TS and corrective actions
- Secure the supply chain from wholesalers to retailers with a special focus on stock sufficiency at the retail level:
- Ensure proper destocking process for the FSF, regularly conduct physical review of both the process and documentation
- Ensure that the area is adequately supplied in order to maximize sales and profit objectives - Ensure reduction of OOS occurrence in the area
Your qualifiactions:
